OK, right now the Democrats have a super majority in getting things done. The Republicans are doing nothing. They couldn't do anything even if they wanted too. Republicans are actually just sitting back and letting the other side shoot themselves in the foot.

Would a Flat-Tax work this time around?

I just got my taxes finished last weekend. I always do my own taxes. Of course I use some type of software to help with dealing with deductions. As always, I don't have enough deductions this year. But I am gong to get a refund. It won't be as much as everybody else I work with.

When the benefits run out.... that is something that is going to happen. I don't have to stand line with the unemployed, yet. I am one of the fortunate people living in Michigan that don't work in the auto industry. But I have stood in line.

I wouldn't buy one of them. Too many people in THIS country without jobs. Why is the federal governmnet allowing this? It's the same as having an off shore account in order to avoid paying taxes. Is there someone, somewhere, thinking that this will quell the flood of illegals into this country? If so, then they need to wake and "smell the roses".
Big business in this country is ripping us all off, and I'm real tired of all the greed AT ALL levels..from the county, city and state governments to those nincompoops in DC.
I sincerely hope the elections in November will really make a difference for my country, because God knows, we HAVE TO HAVE a change.
